This month has been....interesting? I really love the aesthetics of this time of the year and I've basically just been basking in the autumn vibes.
This is what happened this month! :
» I low-key spent this entire month complaining about how boring school is
» There's this one teacher that all the students dislike
» She made a girl cry in class by forcing her to share a personal story
» guy who sits behind me in one class - *looks up "How To Stop Wasting Time" on wikihow*
me - maybe you could stop wasting time if you could stop reading articles about not to waste time?
him - I was trying to find articles that were ironic...
» I have a new found love for sweatshirts
» and leggings
» Still struggling with jeans tho
» me - *writes a bullet point*
another guy - *freaks out* YOU HAVE TO CAPITALIZE.
» I kind of forgot about picture day?? I was going to make a point to wear rags on that day (for the sole purpose of irritating my friends), but I dressed up nicely by accident? or at least, "you're kind of dressed up? I mean, you're dressed up for you," someone said to me.
» Fried oreos are delicious and should be revered
» STRANGER THINGS SEASON 2 CAME OUT ON FRIDAY and I am not okay. I'm currently on episode 7, and it's just so good? Please watch this show.
» I'm in a horrible book slump
» So I kinda only read two books this month?
» I mean, I did read some fan fiction...
» *breathes* I'm definitely going to try to read more next month. I think that I need to focus on picking out books that I genuinely want to read + not forcing myself to read something that's doesn't interest me
» Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu - 4/5 Stars
This is such an incredibly feminist book, and I felt so empowered while reading it. I think this is a
must read for anyone who is interested in the feminist movement. It brings up a lot of important
issues and I'm just so glad that a book like this is out there.
» Warcross by Marie Lu - 4/5 Stars
I have a couple issues with some of the main characters in this book, but I really enjoyed reading
about the secondary characters. Warcross was such an interesting + fast - paced + entertaining book, it was pretty hard to put down.
» NANOWRIMO IS COMING
» am I the only one freaking out?
» how do you even write asdlkj
» I am beyond excited for Nano, though. I've never actually participated in Nanowrimo (although I have done Camp Nano), but I've always loved seeing the rest of the blogosphere write nano themed posts + angst over writing, AND THIS YEAR I CAN FINALLY PARTICIPATE.
» I bought scrivener using a discount that I got from winning Camp Nano, and it's actually been really helpful when it comes to outlining.
» an excerpt of my notes about my novel:
idk why i wrote this, pls don't judge me
a board for my novel
a board for my main character
» Anyway, I hope that those of you that are doing Nano have a really nice writing experience :)
» Temporary Being shared her inktober artwork
How was your month? Are you planning on doing Nano? Do you have any new favorite reads? tell me in the comments :)
